LATEST CONCERT REPORT
Brahms German Requiem and Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs
Saturday 13th April in Brentwood Cathedral.
The concert was a joint effort with Brentwood Choral Society and Ingatestone Choral
Society coming together to sing two marvellous contrasting pieces of music, the
Vaughan Williams quite calm and pastoral - Brahms very lively and strenuous.
The pieces were accompanied by an excellent six piece ensemble plus pianoforte/organ
with three talented soloists all brought together by our conductor Harry Bradford, a
brilliant combination and much appreciated by an enthusiastic audience.

Christmas concert - CLICK HERE
Saturday 29th JUNE 2019 was our Music on a Summers day Concert.
A completely different programme to our normal music -
Bob Chilcott’s Little Jazz Mass and George Shearing Songs and Sonnets with
accompaniment by a Jazz Trio, very well received by our audience.
To complete the afternoon we all had afternoon tea scones, jam, cream with
china teapots and crockery, very traditional English tea party!
A good time was had by all and a fitting end to the singing season. We start
again on 11th September 2019, preparing for our winter concert - selections
from Handel’s Messiah plus readings and carols for audience. COME AND
JOIN US, YOU WILL BE MADE MOST WELCOME. (See Contacts)
